April’s arrival means just one thing: It’s time to head back outdoors and to all the things we love on Vancouver Island.
Fishing, hiking and biking, camping via tent or RV – this is why we live where we do … and why the Island’s second annual Outdoor Shows are where we need to be this month!
Rolling first into Nanoose Bay’s Arbutus Meadows April 12 to 14 is the Vancouver Island Outdoor Show, packed full of fun and adventure, says Darcy Hope, president of show hosts, Evergreen Exhibitions. For those on the South Island, the Victoria Outdoor Adventure Show offers all the same opportunities when it fills West Shore Parks & Recreation in Colwood April 26 to 28.
“It’s everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors, all under one roof,” Hope says, noting those who visited last year’s inaugural show will find even more to see and do this year.
“People really like the opportunity to see, touch and feel the products, and to talk to the local experts and Island suppliers.”
Part outdoor show, part RV Show, part boat, fishing and power sport show, it’s safe to say that no matter what you like to do on the wild West Coast, you’ll find plenty of ideas and inspiration!
Featured exhibitors include those specializing in fishing, hunting, camping and survival, water, power and adventure sports – plus everything you need to tow the toys! Browse bikes, including the latest e-bikes, boats, RVs and more.
Lots to see, do and win!
Of course, experiences top the list for anything we do outside, so the Island’s outdoor shows also offer an archery shooting zone, fly-tying and fly-casting, plus bike jumping demos all weekend long.
You can also enter to win some amazing prizes, including wildlife tours, thrilling experiences and an e-scooter.
