Langford dental clinic set to host summer kick-off party
With a focus on prevention, Dr. Nadji loves working with children and anxious patients. She encourages parents to set their children up for a healthy dental future and advises families to start young when it comes to daily dental care.
On June 2 from 1 to 3 p.m., Whirlaway Dental is hosting a summer kick-off party to show their appreciation for the supportive community that has welcomed them.
As Dr. Negaar Nadji gets to know her neighbors, the devoted dentist invites the community to this free and fun event, which will offer snacks, beverages, prizes, face painting by Sparkle Storm, dental trivia, and treasure hunting for the kids. Everyone is invited to this event.
Having recently moved back to Victoria, Dr. Nadji feels lucky to be part of the Langford community. She loves the friendly, community feel she gets from everyone in Langford which now feels like home.
“I’ve gotten to know all of my patients, and they’re all so nice and welcoming. I’ve had patients go out of their way to show appreciation for the work we’re doing, which means so much to me, not only as a dentist but as a business owner.”

Dr. Nadji has been lucky enough to work with many children throughout her dental career, and currently works on a part time basis with the ORCCA dental society. ORCCA’s purpose is to provide children and adolescents from low-income families access to oral care in a non-profit setting.
To help younger patients who might be experiencing distress due to dental anxiety, Dr. Nadji offers the use of laughing gas if needed during fillings and other procedures. Laughing gas, also known as nitrous oxide, is commonly used in medical procedures, to help relieve anxiety.
Recognizing the importance of accessible and stress-free dental care for all, Dr. Nadji Whirlaway Dental is proudly joining the Canadian Government’s new $13 billion Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) announced last December, which is intended to reduce financial barriers to oral health care.
The program provides coverage for basic dental care for Canadian residents who do not have dental benefits and a household income of less than $90,000 a year.
The services include dental checkups, cleaning, and extractions that fall under the CDCP’s federal fee guide. As of June 1, parents can apply for their children under the age of 18 at Dr. Nadji’s clinic.
Dr. Nadji is a mom to three young children, so she understands very well the challenges and difficulties that parents face. She welcomes parents to ask any questions and wants to provide a happy and comfortable dental environment.
