Campbell River Canadian Tire reveals a new look and innovative upgrades
The Campbell River Canadian Tire has undergone a complete layout change with new perks and technology to help support your shopping experience.
The next time you walk through the doors of the Campbell River Canadian Tire, you’ll be surprised to see that the space looks a little different.
The store has undergone a complete layout change with new perks and technology to help you find exactly what you’re searching for in the store.
First, you’ll be greeted by a variety of indoor plants and greenery, all available for purchase to help decorate your home.
Immediately to the right as you enter the store, you’ll find the store’s new online order area with additional self-serve online order lockers, allowing you to better access the items you wish to purchase and pick up.
As part of their re-merchandising project, Store owner, Grant Wood says he and his staff have worked hard to expand the variety of merchandise best suited for the Campbell River market.
The biggest technology upgrade made during the project is the introduction of electronic shelf labels. Using the Canadian Tire app, these digital labels let you use your cellphone to flash the label in the aisle to better identify the location of a product.
“We’ve been able to tie our in-store digital strategy to our website and online strategy. People can use their smartphones to identify the aisle, then use that same smartphone to locate the product by pressing the product locator icon on their phone app,” Wood says.
Improving the shopping experience is just one way the local store puts community first.
“Local ownership allows us to tailor our business and our assortment to this community and stock what this community wants. Canadian Tire Campbell River also has a well established history of community support through various community initiatives, most notably through our Jumpstart program, which supports kids in sports.”
Owning the Campbell River location for over a year now, Wood commends his staff for being able to adapt to the new changes, working hard to meet our customers needs, while providing an enjoyable shopping experience.
“I feel very fortunate to work with such a great group of dedicated, professional and knowledgeable staff. I can say with all confidence that the team I am working with now is the strongest team that I have had the pleasure to work with in my career. I’m very proud of what they’ve accomplished in the last year and I am very much looking forward to the future at Canadian Tire Campbell River.”
