“This trip was by far a once-in-a-lifetime dream and was on my bucket list – I would go back in a heartbeat,” says Pety Carvalho of Expedia Cruises.
The safari included wildlife wonders such as hippos and rhinos immersed in their aquatic haunts, as well as mud-bathed elephants. The team was able to even see zebras and giraffes, lions and impalas, along with baboons, buffalo, leopards, hyenas and others, letting travellers immerse themselves in the daily lives of these majestic animals.
“We were truly privileged to see all these animals during our safari,” Carvalho says.
Beyond the thrill of wildlife sightings, the safari offered a connection with the natural world. “The feeling of being in their home and watching what they do is truly a unique experience,” Carvalho says.
