Escape to Saysutshun: A two-day camping adventure

From the edge of Maffeo Sutton Park, the low forested island of Saysutshun (Newcastle Island Provincial Park) is a familiar part of Nanaimo's harbour view. But what lies beyond the horizon is a first-class provincial park hidden in plain sight.

Begin your adventure by booking a ferry in advance. Using the online booking tool to secure your preferred sailing time is the best way to plan your day to ensure your adventure is seamless.

Campsites are available on a first-come first-served basis, but reservations are highly recommended.

As the sun sets, take a stroll along the shoreline, soaking in the twilight. Return to Trollers on Land for an unforgettable dinner, dining on fresh seafood as you watch the sun dip low. Reconnect with Nature's Rhythm
