From first rides to dream machines: Quesnel motorsport dealer celebrates 25 years!

“Outdoor recreation and motorsports have always been a passion of mine. When the opportunity arose 25 years ago to open a retail location focused on the sale of new and used motorsport vehicles, I jumped on it,” says Quesnel’s Brad Dunn. “Here we are, 25 years later, and we’re busier than ever before.”
Full Throttle Motorsports has served generations of outdoor enthusiasts in and around the Quesnel area. From fitting kids with their first off-road vehicle to helping loyal clients settle into the side-by-side of their dreams, Full Throttle has expanded not just their retail floor space but their product lineup as well. They now carry a full range of motorsport vehicles, water sport equipment, electric bikes, Honda power equipment and offer small engine repair services as well.
“When we first started out, I was still working graveyard shifts at the sawmill. I would work nights at the mill and days at our original 1,000-sq.-ft. shop,” Dunn recalls. “Our current location is 6,000 sq. ft. and has expanded from brands like Kawasaki and Arctic Cat to include a wide array of outdoor recreational equipment like surfboards, SUP boards, and most recently, Slane pedal-assist electric bikes as well.”
Full Throttle’s service team has also been growing and now has two full-time mechanics available for all types of small engine repairs. Whether your chainsaw, side-by-side or boat motor is causing you grief, Full Throttle’s servicing team will get you back on the road, water or trail.
“We welcomed Justin Scott, a certified motorcycle mechanic and avid motorsports enthusiast, to our team back in May. He joined our long-term mechanic Darby Apps, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Full Throttle team,” Dunn says.
