Celebrating local talent in this curated series, you can witness hilariously delightful theatrical performances and stunningly beautiful orchestral programs. The Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra celebrates the spring season with an eclectic program that spans baroque to contemporary and swing, creating an evening of choral music that will keep you enchanted from start to finish. Voices on April 19 brings together the CSO with special guests the Vancouver Orpheus Male Choir, the Company B Jazz Trio, Belle Voci and Voces Gioventu for an evening of choral music that will invigorate you!
From April 25 to May 5, the Chilliwack Players Guild brings another fantastic play, Drinking Habits, that will have you howling with laughter. Revolving around two nuns who have been secretly making wine to keep their convent’s doors open, this performance dives into the chaos of two reporters who go under cover to discover just what’s going on. Filled with accusations, mistaken identities and romances run wild, Drinking Habits will be an unforgettable evening of laughter.
On April 27, the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra commemorate the 112th anniversary of the loss of the largest ship of its time – The Titanic. The Titanic: Commemorative Concert, featuring Canadian soprano Madison Maily, bridges the gap between music and history, bringing them together through narration, a solo soprano vocalist, chorale, visuals and of course the orchestra. This evening will also contain a silent auction with beautiful pieces to bid on.
Don’t miss your opportunity to see these spectacular performances by our local community groups, showcasing just what incredible talent can be found within Chilliwack.
