“We’re excited to welcome potential new residents along with their friends and families to Berwick by the Sea this June!” says Loren Butler, Community Relations Manager at Berwick by the Sea in Campbell River. “This is a wonderful opportunity to start planning for the future and picturing what that future could look like.”
The June open house is expected to book up quickly, and Loren suggests securing your tour time sooner rather than later. Tour spots can be booked over the phone at 250-850-1353.
The Open House will include live entertainment, door prizes, a tour of Berwick by the Sea’s one-bedroom guest suite, the dining lounges, and gym, before concluding with appetizers (prepared by Executive Chef, Stephanie Martinolich) and refreshments in the Tyee Lounge.
Loren emphasizes the importance of planning ahead for those interested in moving to Berwick and notes that current wait times for a suite at Berwick by the Sea are up to a year or longer.
“Planning ahead is such an important thing to do for those wanting to maintain their independence and move into a retirement community of their choosing,” says Loren. “We’re currently working off a waitlist, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t steps that individuals and couples can take to ensure they’re ready when space becomes available. The first step obviously is joining us for a visit and making sure that Berwick by the Sea is the right fit for your future.”
