From fabulous fashions to an on-stage tea party, skincare solutions to plenty of swag (not to mention the chance to win some awesome prizes), the 14th annual Fraser Valley’s Women Expo is not to be missed.
“The best shopping day ever” comes to Chilliwack Heritage Park March 1 to 3, showcasing more than 200 exhibitors with a focus on fashion, beauty, home decor, health and more, plus an extensive list of speakers.
The event includes a fashion show, stage presentations, and opportunities for shopping, entertainment, and lots of samples. Tickets are $10, available online or at the door, and parking donations go to the Salvation Army food bank.
“This year, we’re excited to introduce a live tea party on stage – a first for our expo,” says Shannon Ross, owner and producer of the Women’s Expo, always a highlight on the spring calendar.
“With the tea party, the lineup of local speakers and the wealth of vendors, we’re creating an environment that celebrates women’s achievements and contributions across various sectors.”
This expo is designed to cater to women’s diverse interests and needs.
“From health and wellness to entrepreneurship and personal development, our goal is to offer something valuable for everyone,” Ross says.
Another new addition to this year’s expo is swag bags. “Attendees can look forward to receiving a gift at the show , a small gesture to say ‘Thank you,’ for their support and participation,” Ross adds. 50 swag bags will be available each day Friday and Saturday.
A day at the expo is filled with exploration, learning, and fun. Attendees can meander through booths, sit back to enjoy presentations on the stage, and participate in activities with chances to win prizes worth thousands of dollars.
“Our stamp station will offer attendees the opportunity to win big while discovering new products and services tailored to their interests,” Ross says.
What makes the expo stand out is its focus on women’s health and well-being, a theme close to Ross’s heart.
“As a woman, I curate the expo’s content partly based on what I find empowering and informative. This year, we’re thrilled to host a mix of new speakers and returning favourites, all geared towards empowering women’s lives.”
Last year’s expo saw an impressive turnout of 6,000 visitors, and with the buzz surrounding this year’s lineup, the numbers are expected to soar even higher.
As the expo draws near, the Fraser Valley community and beyond are invited to join in celebrating women’s achievements, strengths and dreams. With its blend of education, empowerment, and entertainment, the Fraser Valley Women’s Expo is not to be missed!
